Hello everyone! How was your summer? I can’t believe is almost over and that September is just around the corner!
This Summer was definetly different from other years, it was cold and rainy for big part of July and August and it felt more like an early fall.
During the gloomy days that we were having around here I decided to make Little things at home to cheer me up. Since, I’m obssesed with putting flowers in every room of our place I thought it was a good idea to Start crocheting some. I Think these mini flowers will be great to use in differents DIY projects: such as garlands, wreaths, pins, use them as props or add them to your handmade Gifts, to name a few. Of course, these are just a few ideas on how to use them… let your imagination run free!
Let’s go straight to the pattern! 😉 😉
This tutorial is perfect to use up some of the leftover yarn that you probably have at home. You can use any type of yarn and you will need a crochet hook in a smaller size that is recommended.
Materials
- 3 mm crochet hook
- Scraps of fingering/sport cotton yarn in 2 colours
- Yarn needle and scissors
The instructions are written in US terms. Find the French and Spanish version bellow!
Abbreviations
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
P. st – puff stitch
Start with the first colour and make a magic ring.
Round 1: ch 1 (doesn’t count as a st), make 5 sc inside the ring, pull tight the yarn to close the ring. Finish the round with a sl st in the first sc. (change colour yarn)
Round 2: *ch 3, make 1 puff st of 2 dc in the first sc, ch 3 and make 1 sl st in the same sc (you have made the 1st petal), 1 sl st in the next sc. Repeat 4 times from * , you should have 5 petals in total (each petal made in every sc of the 1st round). Finish with a sl st at the beginning of the first petal. Cut and hide in the ends.
Note: if you want you can add 1 sc in the 1rst round and 1 more repetition in the 2nd round to make a flower of 6 petals.
Repeat the pattern to make as many flowers as you want!

Ce tuto est idéale pour finir les petits restes de fils que vous avez déjà chez vous. Vous pouvez utiliser le type de fil de votre choix, vous devrez juste adapter le crochet pour une taille plus petite que celle recommandée avec votre fil.

Matériel
- des chutes de fil fingering/sport en coton, deux couleurs différents
- un crochet de 3mm
- une aiguille à laine et une paire de ciseaux
Abréviations
ma – maille en l’air
mc – maille coulée
ms – maille serrée
br – bride
p. s – point soufflé
Instructions
Avec la 1e couleur (jaune) faites un anneau/cercle magique.
1e tour: 1 ma (ne compte pas) puis 5 ms dans l’anneau. Tirez du fil et serrez bien l’anneau. Finissez le tour avec 1 maille coulée dans la 1e maille serrée. Changez de couleur et coupez le du 1e rang
2e tour: *3 ma puis faites 1 p.soufflé de 2 br + 3 ma+ 1 mc dans la 1e ms( vous avez faites le 1e pétale ), faites 1 mc dans la ms suivante. Répétez 4 fois depuis *, vous devez avoir 5 pétales en total (1 pétale pour chaque ms du 1e tour) . Finissez avec 1 mc au début du 1e pétale.
Note: si vous aimeriez réaliser une fleur de 6 pétales, vous pouvez ajouter 1 ms au 1e tour et faire 1 répétition de plus dans le 2e tour.

Este tutorial está pensado para utilizar los pequeños restos de lana e hilo que tengas por casa. Puedes elegir otro tipo de lana del que recomiendo, solo tendrás que utilizar un crochet más pequeño del que recomiendan en la etiqueta.

Materiales
- restos de hilo de algodón fino en dos colores.
- un crochet de 3 mm
- una aguja lanera y tijeras
Abreviaciones
cad – punto cadena
pr – punto raso
pb – punto bajo
pa – punto alto
p. piña – punto piña
Instrucciones
Con el primer color haz un anillo o circulo mágico.
1ra vuelta: haz 1 cad (no cuenta como punto), 5 pb adentro del anillo, estos serviran de base para cada pétalo. Tira del hilo para cerrar el anillo. Termina con 1 pr en el 1er pb. Cambia de color y corta el primer hilo.
2da vuelta: *3 cad + 1 p. piña de 2 pa + 3 cad + 1 pr en el 1er pb (haz hecho el 1er pétalo), 1 pr en el siguiente pb. Repite desde el * 4 veces, debes tener 5 pétalos al final. Termina con 1 pr en el primer pb. Corta el hilo y esconde el resto.
Nota: si lo deseas puedes agregar 1 pb al inicio de la 1ra vuelta y hacer 1 repetición más en la 2da vuelta para realizar una flor de 6 pétalos.
Ya lo tienes, ahora puedes hacer cuantas flores quieras en los colores que más te gusten!
